AMY’S CURRENT ROLE
After over 25 years in real estate, Amy chose to step away from traditional sales to focus solely on supporting mature adults and their families. While still a licensed Realtor® in Colorado, Amy no longer participates in real estate transactions. Instead, she serves as a professional referral advocate, ensuring clients receive unbiased guidance tailored to their unique needs. With no competing interests, Amy’s sole priority is her clients’ well-being.
MORE ABOUT AMY: A TRUSTED GUIDE IN LIFE’S TRANSITIONS
Amy’s journey is deeply personal. As a volunteer in hospice, memory care, and cancer care, she has developed a profound understanding of the emotional complexities families face during difficult transitions. Her experiences, both professional and personal, have shaped her empathetic and supportive approach to helping clients.
Amy was inspired by her mother, a lifelong hospice nurse who cared for patients with unwavering dedication until age 82. Amy also witnessed firsthand the challenges of caregiving when her father lived with ALS for 11 years, lovingly supported at home by her mother. These experiences taught Amy the importance of compassion, resilience, and the value of a strong support system.
Amy’s expertise is further enriched by her own family’s journey in transitioning her 84-year-old mother into assisted living and later providing home care until her peaceful passing at home, surrounded by her children. She understands the emotional weight and logistical challenges these decisions bring, especially when family members live out of state or are juggling multiple responsibilities.
Through these life lessons and professional training, Amy believes in the power of having a knowledgeable, compassionate guide by your side. She created Gentle Shifts to ensure that your transition isn’t just about changing locations—it’s about embracing life’s next chapter with confidence and grace.
When you work with Amy, it’s more than just a service—it’s a promise of heartfelt care, where you and your family feel respected, supported, and at ease every step of the way.
